THOMAS ROMER

Matthew Richmond

Recently promoted to Assistant to the Aide of the Scout Leader, Matthew has secured the position of pack over achiever. He can often be found in the Chopping Block club house, Swiss Army knife in hand, fixing equipment to ensure that the Chop Scouts complete all of their activities. Matthew recently received his BFA badge from the Cooper Union and was named "Scout Most Likely to be in the Club House at 2 AM"

Educated at The Cooper Union School of Art, Richmond has the eye of a photographer, the talent of a designer, and the skills of an architect, which he acquired from two years of additional study at The Cooper Union School of Architecture.

Richmond interned as a Studio Assistant for Richard Avedon before crowding up SiteSpecific's trophy shelf with his art direction of Third Millennium (one of Newsweek magazine's top eight web sites). During his next internship, at Microsoft, Matthew worked as an interface designer for Picture It. Recently made an equal partner, Matthew applies each of his abilities to insure the Chopping Block always maintains a stable orbit.

Matthew's photographs and personal ramblings can be found at analog.net.
